Hi - we live in Lake Oswego, OR now - talk about surreal! We went from California and decided on Oregon out of anywhere in the world to live - but it really does work for us. We don't get to Scottsdale much these days because Joan & Joe live by us 6 months out of the year (they live in Scottsdale the other times) and so the kids get to be with Grandma and Pop-pop and Steven & Kelsi and Matthew & partner Scott all live in Seattle - just about 3 hours by all highway.

How's life treating you - I think you have 2 beautiful girls? That's very cool! Mine are already almost 10, 8 and 4 - no more diapers and life is all about Indiana Jones, Jack Sparrow (yeah!) and Drake & Josh on TV! Do you still keep in touch with the old gang in Chicago?

I really wanted to say hello. Last night when I stumbled upon the website, it was so surreal. Seeing all the photos and your beautiful family. I got a glimpse of the life you have been living and it made me so happy for you. Where are you living now? Do you ever come to Scottsdale?

Hello I am new here! I producing a videoblog about food and wine. You are welcome to join my group: Charlottenburg Cuisine

My favorite white wine at the moment ist the TOUR SAINT MARTIN 2006 from the Château de la Vieille in Bordeaux. The recommendation you can find here with this dinner: The appetizer is SALMON „MON AMOUR“. As a main course we serve CORN-FED POULARDE WIH ROSEMARY. We finish our dinner with a traditional TARTE AU CITRON.

Thanks for the ADD... I know what you mean about wine and food. In May I'm going to a WineMakers dinner here in town. I'll have lots of photos to share.

Had a lovely dinner at Rose Angelis with Mirek, my brother Todd and wife Laura and lovely little daughter Ava. I had the incrediblly decadent Pear and Gorgonzola stuffed Tortellini in a Marscapone sauce garnished with grapes and toasted walnuts...yum. Do you remember their Italian Bread Pudding with Carmel Sauce? Mmmmmm....Happy Valentine's Day!
